The North East's finest dark, melodic, noise makers Retriever are back with new track 'Happiness Falls', and they are offering it up as a free download.

The first of three new tracks recorded, mixed and mastered by the fantastic Neil Bassett otherwise known as the 'Beast' in Hyde & Beast (who we interviewed last year, click here to read it), 'Happiness Falls' pushes the band forward from where they left off with their last release 'Arms Out Wide' back in September.

More drum machine beats combine perfectly with a driving bassline and shards of distorted guitars, over which lead singer Jackie adds her aggressively delivered vocals. Go listen, go download, go see them live. Retriever are one seriously good band who are just getting better and better.
